Mini Kit Freebie - Iris

I had so much fun designing the Summer Smiles mini for our blog train, and such a great downloading response, that I thought I would give designing another try. I even went so far as to give myself a designing name, and write up some Terms Of Use to go along with my kit.

Every month Brownie Scraps has a challenge called "The Unbaked Brownie" Challenge. You are given a color palette and then you are free to design whatever you want based on that palette. I've never done this challenge before, but I thought I would give it a try.

Here is the Color Palette:



And here is my mini.




I named it "Iris" after my sweet little niece Iris, or Iree as we all call her, who is ALL girl! She loves everything girly, pretty, and soft! Since her name means purple, I thought it was the perfect fit! :)

All Aboard!!!

All of the CT members from Jacabean Designs and Down This Road Designs got together and decided to do another Blog Train! We got together and decided on a really fun color palette and came up with an amazingly colorful and FUN Summer kit called "Summer Smiles"!



Don't you love it!?! I think everyone did an amazing job!! :)

My part of the train is an actual mini kit! This is the first time I have ever done a mini kit, so I'm really excited to show it to you, and would love to hear what you think! :)

Joyful Hearts and Easy Bake Templates #2

Jackie from Jacabean Designs has released another great kit called "Joyful Hearts" AND another great template pack!


Joyful Hearts is a very soft elegant kit, with great colors! I love all the blue and red in this kit! I really want to do a 4th of July layout with this kit...when I have a few extra minutes! :)




I settled on doing Keric's last day of swimming pictures, since his towel matched the colors. :) I LOVE how this layout turned out. It almost makes the whole swimming lesson experience worth it. :)



Are you ready for templates now???




Last month was my anniversary and my sweet husband brought me flowers...but not just ANY flowers, he brought me an arrangement made out of the same flowers as my wedding bouquet. So I had to scrap them, and Jackie's templates fit perfectly. Of course I HAD to use Daisy Days since that kit was totally made for my wedding pictures. :)

Slice of Summer

Angie at Down This Road Designs has been BUSY! She has come up with yet ANOTHER cute colorful kit!



I LOVE the colors in this kit!! It's kits like these that make me sad Keric isn't a girl! :) Although I did manage to make this one work with a few pictures of him. I love a challenge! :)

Lazy Daisy

I went to WY a couple weeks ago for a family reunion, and I am just NOW getting caught up on showing you some of the amazing kits I have had the opportunity to work with the past couple of weeks.

The first kit I got to play with was "Lazy Daisy" from Scrappin Daisies.




I LOVE the colors in this kit. They are so soft and pretty, and I am a sucker for Daisies. They always remind me of the movie "You've Got Mail". The daisy is such a "happy flower!" :)

As luck would have it, while I was in WY we did a little hike and the pictures seemed to go just perfectly with this kit. Sadly, we didn't see any daisies on our hike, but it was still very beautiful!
