Little Whimsy

Jackie from Jacabean Designs has a new and improved kit for you today! This kit was originally a collab that Jackie did with a friend awhile back. Now she has gone through and added some things to her part and come up with an even BETTER version of Whimsy.

I LOVE the colors in this kit. I have always been a huge fan of Black. I don't know why, but I love the look of Black. It is so elegant looking to me. This kit is not only fun, but it has a softer elegant feel to it as well.

Here are two of the layouts I did with this kit.

Head on over to Jackie's Store and check it out. And make sure to keep your eyes open for some freebies and an RAK coming up!

Have a great weekend, and Happy Scrapping!

Coming Up Spring

Are you as ready for Spring as I am? We keep getting little teasers from mother nature here in Utah. One day it will be beautiful outside with temperatures in the 60's and the next day it will snow! All the little tulips and daffodils look so sad trying to peek up from the snow. Hopefully one of these days Spring will come and it will STAY!

Thankfully however, Angie from Down This Road Designs has a new kit out today that will help you to get into the Spring mood! It's called "Coming Up Spring". I love the colors in this kit! They are so pretty and fun! They just make you happy looking at them. This kit is full of flowers, obviously, and has a great alpha to go along with it!

Here are some of the layouts I did with this kit.

So head over to Brownie Scraps today and check it out! This kit is on sale for 25% off until March 31 so HURRY! It just may be exactly what you need to cure your Spring Fever! :)

Ice Princess

When you live in a place like Utah, there are no guarantees about when "Spring" will arrive. This weekend we were "blessed" with 8 inches of snow! I guess we will all be thankful for it when and if Spring actually DOES get here. :)

So if you live in a place like I live in, you will be thankful for this next kit from Britt. Instead of a Spring Kit, she has brought you a Snow Kit, called Ice Princess.

Despite the name, this kit can also be used for little boys. Here are the two layouts I did.

As you can see, one is VERY girly for my step-daughter, and the other one is more boy looking for my Son. You would hardly know I scrapped his layout with a "Princess Kit".

Head on over to Stuff To Scrap and check this cute kit out. Happy Scrapping!

Charmed & Lucky

This weekend Jenn from JennCK has released a new kit called Charmed. This kit has a St. Patricks Day theme to it, but it is a very non-traditional kit.

I love the colors in this kit. It was so easy to find pictures to go along with it, and none of them had anything to do with St. Patricks day! :) Here are the two layouts I did with this kit.

Jenn also has a big sale going on with this kit, and also with her newest template pack "Lucky".

Head over to Scrapbook Bytes and check them out!

Before I end this post I also have some sad news to share with you. This will be the last kit that I preview for you from JennCK. Jenn has decided to no longer have a Creative Team, which is sad news for me. I have truly enjoyed the past 5 months of being on her team. She is an amazing designer and I wish her well as she continues her designs. You will still be able to find her designs at SBB and also at Inspiration Lane. Be sure you continue to check there often for more of Jenn's Designs.

Have a wonderful Weekend, and of course, Happy Scrapping!

Sweet Baby Girl from Jacabean Designs

Didn't you all just LOVE Sweet Baby Boy that came out last week?? That is one of my favorite kits, and one I intend to use for Keric's baby layouts that are not done yet!

Well...for all of you who have little girls, Jackie has done a kit that is very similar to Sweet Baby Boy, but this time it's PINK! :)

My step daughters baby pictures have already been scrapped by her Mom, and I didn't have time to bug my sisters and sisters in law for baby pictures of my nieces, so I had to think outside of the box for this kit. It actually is a pretty versatile kit! I mean come on...we ALL have some "girly" pictures that need scrapping right?

So here are the layouts that I did with this kit.

Don't forget that all of Jackie's sale proceeds this week go to the National MS Society AND this kit is also 30% off until Sunday the 14th. TWO great reasons to head over to Brownie Scraps and pick it up!

Have a wonderful weekend and Happy Scrapping!

Jacabean Kits = an MS donation

This post is appearing on Jackie's blog and I wanted to pass it on to all of you as well. I work with Mandy on two different CT's and she truly is exactly what Jackie says she is! An amazing scrapper and a very sweet and caring person! Here is Jackie's post:

"Can I just say I love CTM Mandy? She's a fantastic scrapper, an amazing blogger, and she has a heart as big as Texas (where she just so happens to live). Mandy is biking for her Mom who has MS. The amazing part is that she is also biking WITH her mom! To read more about why she bikes, and how her mom is able to bike, visit her BikeMS page. So if those reasons weren't enough to make me want to help her in her fundraising goal, today is also her birthday! So starting today, through next Wednesday, Mach 17, ALL proceeds from the sales of my kits will go towards sponsoring Mandy's bike ride. All the money she raises goes directly to the National MS Society. Head on over to Brownie Scraps to pick yourself up a little treat. You'll get a new kit to add to your scrap stash, and you'll help fight MS. If that's not something to smile about, then I don't know what is :) Have a great day!"

"EDIT: I just found out that the owners of Brownie Scraps (Ramona, Leslie & Bethany) have decided to waive all store and PayPal fees for me for the week!!! That means truly 100% of all my sales will go towards Mandy's bike ride! How cool is that?"

So there you have it! An amazing reason to buy some great kits this week! I think this is wonderful incentive to head over to Brownie Scraps and stock up on all the Jacabean Design kits that you've been telling yourself you want! Not only do you get some amazing kits, you are also helping out a great cause! :) Thank you to everyone who buys/donates this week!

Happy Scrapping!

Missionary Memories

I am so excited to tell you about this very new kit from Angie at Down This Road Designs. This kit is called Missionary Memories and it is the Elders version.

I'm not sure if she is planning on doing one for Sister Missionaries, but I bet if she got some feedback from all of you that it was needed, I have no doubt she could come up with an amazing one!

Angie was approached by a store here in Utah and asked if she would like to participate in designing paper kits for them. The challenge was to design kits that were Latter Day Saint appropriate. She not only took on the challenge, she turned her kit into a digital kit and is offering it to you!

As a member of the Church or Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints, the LDS Church, I was thrilled to see someone come out with a kit like this! The audience for this kit may be a little smaller but I think it is a kit that is needed, and also wanted. I myself have not taken on the task of scrapping my own husbands Mission pictures, but I know many wives who have and are. Kudos to you for taking that challenge on! :) Thankfully my husbands is already done, and as of right now anyway, I don't intend on doing another one for him. Maybe one day I will change my mind! :)

This kit is also great for pictures of your little future missionaries. It's a beautiful "boy" kit full of browns, blues, greens, and only two flowers in the whole kit! :)

Here are a couple of layouts that I did with this kit.

If you have a need for this kit, and I think many of you who read my blog just might, head on over to Brownie Scraps and check it out!

Happy Scrapping!

Sweet Baby Boy

I apologize for being late in announcing this amazing new kit from Jacabean Designs. I have been under the weather for a few days, but am well on the mend, and ready to get back to scrapping and blogging, along with life!! :)

This weekend Jackie released a kit over at Brownie Scraps called "Sweet Baby Boy".

This kit was a CT member request from Mara. Just one more GREAT thing about being on a CT! If you have an idea, or a color scheme you like, chances are your designer will design a kit just for you! This kit was in celebration of Mara's nephew Xander, and all of us mom's who have sweet little baby boys were very appreciative! :)

Here are a couple of layouts I did with this kit.

Head on over to Brownie Scraps and check out this beautiful kit! AND...just as a heads up for those of you with Sweet Baby might want to watch for a PINK kit from Jackie soon too! ;)
